GypsyJaunt is a logical extension for Walker, who from a richly diverse family, and was raised with a very strong cultural identity. In her blood is African, Mexican, Apache, and more, but her mother raised her with a solid Black identity. This was helpful as Walker navigated relationships at predominantly white schools throughout her K-12 education, and moved a variety of neighborhoods in Los Angeles County.
