Baltimore radiologist Fauzia Vandermeer created this gift only recently. The artwork for it was created by a Baltimore artist, and the chocolate was stuffed by the hands of friends and family. She has already sold more than 700 boxes — impressive for a that came together just a few weeks before Ramadan and whose only marketing was word of mouth.Luckily, there are other ways to get children involved and excited about the month, which is about so much more than fasting.

This was a standout episode in what I thought was kind of a blah season. Season 1 was amazing bc it showed perspectives not normally seen on TV.. what it’s like to be a woman walking home at night, what it’s like to be the child of immigrant parents, etc. I wish season 2 spent less time on Dev’s tired romcom will-they-or-wont-they w a stock character and had more fresh, important content like this episode.
